The track

An obstacle course built especially for onewheel. Speed and VESC power don't help much here — it is all about skill on your board.

The rules

  1. The obstacle course is short and you ride it one at a time.
  2. Your riding time is measured from start to finish.
  3. For every obstacle you pass, a number of bonus seconds is deducted from your riding time.
  4. To earn the bonus you must stay on the board from the obstacle's start line to its finish line.
  5. You may retry an obstacle — fall, carry your board back to the obstacle's start and go again.
  6. The winner is the rider with the shortest final time.
  7. Friday is open for testing the course.

How bonus seconds work

The bonus for an obstacle is a difficulty factor times roughly the time it takes to try three times: fall, carry your board to the start of the obstacle and retry. So even if an obstacle is hard, it is clearly worth trying — also more than once.

Example: The bridge has a difficulty score of 2. Three tries take about 40 seconds, so passing it deducts 80 seconds from your riding time.
